The concept of “Wall of Eyes” of The Smile is the band’s love affair with experimenting, as the members of the band have a very rich experience in the musical industry. The album has smooth harmonic tunes and motives for thinking, with Thom Yorke’s otherworldly voice soaring along with Jonny Greenwood phenomenal accompaniment. Songs like “The Smoke” and “Pana-vision” are great examples of the artists which are expanding the possibilities of rock focusing on the questions of existence and togetherness. It is slick but rugged at the same time, enabling the band to be expressive of their creativity. This experiment is known as “Wall of Eyes” to this date, it can be viewed as an apt reflection of the concept as well as solidifies the band’s position in contemporary music.
