Nasty Cherry’s The Movie EP is a pop-rock album and regeneration of the band which is versatile and reflective. .prependmi=log erroneously constituted by Charli XCX, the group has always had a kind of carefree fun approach taken to another level in this release. Such songs like “Lucky” and “Cherry” are more calm and include some emotions like love and acceptance of oneself though still staying true to the attitude of the band. The show is well-choreographed and performed while still seeming as natural as possible for the cast members’ characters. Because of CCM rock’s reliance on memorable hooks and lyrics, “The Movie” is much like an open invitation to listen and join in the young men’s experience.
