Church-like harmonies and intense guitars join gentle, barely audible piano to offer listeners the comfort and drive in one pack. The band talks about being locked and struggle for power and it gives the audience a common concept to the band’s productions. It is almost impossible to say anything in three words about “Changing Tides,” and it’s a sheer music lovers delight that not only shows in Slow Animals what could be, but the promise of youth to come.
