New Crawling Vines’ single called “Best Part” is a nice example of the tender rock foldered with soulful RnB features. First, we get soulful guitar pulses and twangy accents as the sounds of sulking at night as ones’ sole company is created atmospherically. In the course of verses, the rather unobtrusive vocal helps to immerse, and then, as a conclusion – the chorus filled with verses of various voices and impressive guitar improvisations. Such a balance of obscure psychedelic pop and hard rock emphasis underscores the group’s gift of coming up with great melodic hooks. Previous hits like “Vinyl on the Floor” are finally succeeded by the addition of “Best Part”, which also makes Crawling Vines a great band for those who need something to remind them of the uncertainties of the night.
