The excitement of Wednesday’s Child is represented wholly with their track “Ronnie,” melodic, mixing rock with playful stabs at their guitar and the vocalists’ spirited reflections of the lyrics. This one is from their upcoming EP called *Seven Sisters* and is completely different than the intensity of their recent song, “Theda.” „Ronnie“ is much more joyful and here, they use gorgeous many-layered vocals that are easy to catch on. This track that samples the late Ronnie Spector and connects her to The Ronettes blends well into the discography and can be hugely attributed to the resonant aspect ofhope embedded in the infectious melodies that has become so characteristic for the band. The piano instrumental makes for a beautiful environment for the brilliant darker tones of the guitar and the engaged, hopeful sound of the guitar work along with the emotional delivery of the vocals make it have a very replay-appeal. A string of post-punk music and blues with the sweet nostalgia of some first pop hits – “Ronnie” is tender and full of sincere emotion.
