Wednesday's Child Enchant with Eclectic Rock Charisma on "Theda"

London based Wednesday’s Child rock the mic with the rim shaking, genre blending dance tracks as showcased in their latest single “Theda”. Psychedelic jazz-punk five-some turns in a tight, upbeat effort through the conversational verses that climax in a chilling chorus. The guitar work that follows fortifies this excitably creative and diverse direction with classic Brit-pop twang in the debonair vocals, though the track remains grounded firmly in rock.

By using inspiration from the actual silent film actress Theda Bara who played as a femme fatal and whose origins were rather mysterious, the lyrics come with suspenseous twang guitar drums. As the name saying song chimes up, lyrics like ‘She’s gonna get you, she’s gonna bite ya!’ combine a touch of noirish, craved-induced haze to it entirely, which is exactly what Bara represents. With “Theda,” Wednesday’s Child continues to perform emphatic pop-rock and sets listeners up for their otherworldly, peculiar music-making.
