The record does a perfect job of embodying the loneliness of a moment, or rather the loneliness of a night and a resulting reflections. Denver-based band creates guitar timbres by echoing early R.E.M with modern indie comparisons to The Shins. Each track develops as a night-phase ending with the morning, which tells the story of lost loves and lost opportunities. The I Do! I Do! album contain one of my favorite song “I Do! I Do!”, the song has a moody guitar and a memorable chorus. On the other hand “Calling After” is filled with life, like very early 00s indie rock sound. The album goes back and forth between more introspective, emotional tracks and some really catchy tunes leading up to the final song “Memory Fades” It’s an album I would recommend to anybody going through their own late night revelations.
