This single, ‘Forgive Forget,’ is Local Derby’s first taste of the public and the next level jangle-pop they justly deserve. Self-produced and hailing from Naarm/ Melbourne, the young music duo has already generated interest and have their songs played on national Radio. It’s done incredibly well in depicting the essence of an uncertain relationship over a road adventure through Central Australia. There are sharp bright guitar lines, and the voice is silky; the overall feeling is generally upbeat and liberating as well as rather universally understandable. “Forgive Forget” is not just a песня for disco: it is an interesting reflection on love and life’s pathways and makes Local Derby’s debut not only listenable, but entirely worthwhile for fans of a slick and modern pop music.
