In a brand new single released by Lithia titled ‘Self Isolation” fans are taken to the middle of the 80s in terms of theme and feel as the rock ballad carries the hallmarks of the genre with its moody vocals and the twang of the guitars. The band is fronted by a Chicago-based songwriter, Sylvia her songwriting vision merges elements of anthemic heroism of the rock and roll lifestyle with more thoughtful introspection. This tracks progress in infectious as the vocals rise and the guitar comes in and directly captures the essence of the track. The imaginative guitar line that recalls The War on Drugs drives the track to a resolution to which you can look forward. That is why “Self Isolation” is quite an engaging listen for anyone who might be experiencing something like that themselves.
