For it’s a second full-length album with name *Bull in a China Shop* Atomic Bronco serve up tracks that make the heads nod and the soul groan in delight. The album starts off with the homonymous “Default Settings”, but remains in a lively key all the way to the serenely melodic “Fly Away” and “Nostalgia”. As expected in an album produced by Chris Coady, there are moments of grunge but works like “Got You off My Mind” sound shuffling: smooth basslines leading to almost whispered vocals near the chorus, then a flurry of distortion. Something particular about *Bull in a China Shop* is that Atomic Bronco cultivates excellent production and don’t let the rollercoaster of energetic and slow-paced songs come aross as confusing.
